Dear All,
I remember whenever we had a free period in school, we begged the substitute teacher to tell us stories. To foster the spirit of creativity in the children, the teacher invited the kids to take it by turn, to share stories they had heard of. We listened in rapt attention, to stories of Hansel and Gretel, Thumbelina, the Big Bad wolf...and even though we knew them, we loved to hear them again and again...
I thought I would be great if we could take a little time out of our daily humdrum lives and create stories...chuck in a little imagination...play with words...make something out of nothing!
This is how it works...we will start a storyline every Friday (no real reason for Friday other than the psychological bit of the week coming to an end and therefore more inclined to let your hair down to write something...) Anyone can start a couple of sentences and then people can continue the story...Eventually after a week when the story has developed with its twists and turns we can start a new one...
So here is the first story...
They say that when you
try to escape from something, the universe tries its best to bring it in front
of you, as if to test your limits. And that's exactly what happened to Miser
Mutthu!
